从事于海洋和淡水鱼类分子遗传类的相关研究，硕士博士期间以骨干研究成员的身份参与韩国水产部和韩国海洋水产科技振兴院颁发的国家基金重点专项研究（Development of software for data collection and analysis of growth rate according to environment factor of （semi）circulation filtration system）474300万韩元。多次参加国际国内生物工程，分子生物学，遗传生物学，基因组学学术会议，并多次发表国际科学学术讲演，海报，论文，科学海报和论文都发表在：The Korean Society of Biotechnology and bioengineering,Aquaculture research,The Korean Society for Fisheries and Marine Sciences Education等国际学术期刊。具体研究了褐色牙鲆鱼的基因结构，尼罗罗非鱼和虹鳟鱼的生长基因IGF-1的研究，并取得了长足的研究进展，在优质基因品种的筛选与确认获得了优秀的成果。并获得了全行业的高度评价，使得尼罗罗非鱼的养殖成品时间缩短到一年零2个月。
