To ensure the steady and orderly progress of all teaching work, the School of Food and Pharmacy held a teaching work meeting in Conference Room 6-304 at 12:00 on April 3. The meeting was presided over by Wang Yuan, Vice Dean in charge of teaching, and all faculty members attended the meeting.
Dean Wang Yuan delivered a detailed deployment of recent teaching tasks:
1. Each teaching and research office shall advance the curriculum schedule in strict accordance with the teaching plan, ensuring close integration of theoretical teaching and practical training. Particular attention shall be paid to students’ attendance and in-class interaction quality, with timely follow-up on teaching feedback and dynamic adjustment of teaching strategies.
2. For online course development, the Chaoxing (Superstar) and Smart Vocational Education (ICVE) platforms are recommended. Combined with teaching materials such as PPTs, these platforms can diversify teaching methods and enhance students’ self-directed learning ability.
3. Meanwhile, she required all course leaders to accelerate the application and construction of high-quality online open courses, emphasizing the organic integration of curriculum-based ideological and political education (Kecheng Sizheng) elements to build a professional-featured high-quality teaching resource library.
4. Regarding graduating students, in line with school requirements, each supervisor shall conduct plagiarism checks and cross-review on students’ defense papers and theses.
5. The college is actively promoting the in-depth integration of AI technology and education, applying AI to courses such as biopharmaceuticals, intelligent testing, and food microbial testing. She also stressed that each major shall develop tailored teaching content based on its own characteristics.
During the discussion session, teachers shared reports and exchanged ideas on curriculum development, practical training reform and preparations for students' skill competitions based on the actual teaching conditions of their respective majors. All faculty members pledged to fully implement the requirements of the meeting, advance all teaching work with higher standards and more effective measures, and steadily improve the quality of talent training. This regular meeting has further clarified the priorities of current teaching work and laid a solid foundation for the high-quality development of teaching and education in the college.
