To effectively strengthen the deployment of all work for the new semester, build a solid campus safety line, and ensure the smooth and orderly progress of teaching and scientific research in the new semester, recently, Wu Youzhi, Dean of the School of Food and Pharmacy, and Wang Yuan, Vice Dean of Teaching, led a team to carry out special pre-semester inspections. They went deep into the faculty offices and professional laboratories of the college to comprehensively identify potential safety hazards and understand teaching preparations, ensuring a sound start to all work in the new semester.
First, the team visited various faculty offices, had cordial conversations with teachers, and inquired in detail about teaching preparations, course arrangements, and scientific research progress for the new semester, while listening to the difficulties and needs encountered by teachers in their work. Dean Wu Youzhi emphasized that teachers are the core of teaching. He hoped that all teachers would devote themselves to the work of the new semester with full spirit, strictly implement teaching norms, carefully prepare each lesson, focus on improving teaching quality, and at the same time organize and standardize their own office environment to create a clean and efficient working atmosphere.
Afterwards, the team went deep into all professional laboratories of the college and conducted a comprehensive and meticulous inspection focusing on laboratory safety management, operation of instruments and equipment, standardized storage of reagents, and emergency response preparations. Laboratory staff were required to strictly implement safety management systems, standardize experimental operation procedures, strengthen safety education and warnings for students, and effectively prevent the occurrence of laboratory safety accidents.
