At noon on January 14th, the year-end tea gathering of the School of Food and Pharmacy at Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University was held in a warm and harmonious atmosphere. The school's leadership and all faculty members gathered together to summarize the past, look forward to the future, and jointly contribute ideas and suggestions for the high-quality development of the school.
Leader's speech: Set the direction and stimulate vitality
Professor Wu Youzhi, Vice President of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University and Dean of the School of Food and Pharmacy, expressed sincere gratitude to all faculty and staff on behalf of the college's party and government leadership. He pointed out that over the past year, the faculty and staff have worked diligently in the fields of teaching, scientific research, and social services, laying a solid foundation for the development of the college. Facing the new situation, he proposed to focus on promoting four aspects of work:
Strengthen incentive mechanism: improve the team reward system, so that those who work hard can be rewarded and those who are capable can be respected, fully stimulating innovation vitality;
Guarantee financial support: Ensure that the support funds are consistently available, providing a solid backing for scientific research and teaching, and addressing the concerns of faculty and staff;
Introducing Talent and Empowering Team: Strengthen cooperation with industry experts, and enhance the professional capabilities of the team through specialized training and project practice;
Broaden resource channels: Strengthen marketing thinking, connect with high-quality cooperation opportunities, and facilitate the transformation of achievements and personal career development.
Achievements review: Remarkable performance, promising future
Ji Jing, Vice Dean of the School of Food and Pharmacy, gave a detailed introduction to the achievements of the college's high-quality development. Starting from dimensions such as enrollment, employment, student work, and talent cultivation, she systematically summarized the college's breakthroughs in industry-education integration, skill competitions, and school-enterprise cooperation. Dean Ji fully affirmed the contributions of all faculty members, emphasizing that every teacher's efforts are the cornerstone of the college's progress.
Work deployment: deepen cooperation, serve development
He Yushan, the assistant to the dean, made arrangements for liaising with enterprises, proposing to establish a regular mechanism for communication between schools and enterprises, promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, and provide more practical platforms and employment opportunities for teachers and students.
Honor and recognition: setting a benchmark and carrying forward the spirit
A grand award ceremony was held at the meeting:
Vice President Wu Youzhi presented honors to the faculty and staff who had been awarded the title of Outstanding Employee at the school level;
Vice Dean Ji Jing awarded the award for outstanding employees at the institute level;
Vice President Wang Yuan presented awards to the recipients of the Institute-level Dedication and Professionalism Award.
The commendation ceremony serves not only as an affirmation of past achievements but also as an inspiration for all faculty and staff to follow the examples set, striving for even greater successes.
Speak freely: gather ideas from all quarters, and jointly plan for a new situation
In a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, the faculty and staff freely expressed their views and put forward constructive suggestions on topics such as college development, teaching reform, and student cultivation. Everyone expressed their intention to take this tea gathering as an opportunity to unite and continue to contribute to the college's five-year planning goals.
This tea gathering was not only a grand event for summarizing and looking forward, but also embodied the consensus and confidence of all faculty members. The School of Food and Pharmacy will continue to be driven by innovation and grounded in practical work, writing a new chapter in the high-quality development of vocational education.
