To solidly advance various tasks related to the end-of-term teaching, standardize the teaching management process, ensure steady improvement in teaching quality, and simultaneously coordinate and promote the thesis work of the 2026 undergraduate graduates, on January 14th, the School of Food and Pharmacy held a meeting for the arrangement of the end-of-term teaching inspection for the first semester of the 2025-2026 academic year in the school conference room. The meeting was presided over by Wang Yuan, the Vice Dean of Teaching at the school, and attended by Vice Dean Ji Jing and all teachers.
At the meeting, Vice Dean Wang Yuan first emphasized the importance of the final teaching inspection work, pointing out that it is a comprehensive review and summary of the teaching work of this semester, and also a key link in regulating teaching order and improving teaching quality. She made detailed arrangements focusing on three aspects: invigilation, standardization of test paper-related archives, and verification of course implementation. Regarding invigilation, the meeting emphasized that invigilation is an important part of the final examination work, directly related to the fairness and justice of the examination and the stability of teaching order. All teachers were required to strictly abide by the invigilation work arrangements of the school and the college, participate in pre-examination invigilation training on time, familiarize themselves with the invigilation process, examination discipline, and precautions; during the examination, they need to arrive at the examination room in advance, prepare the examination room, verify the identity of the examinees, distribute and collect the examination papers, strictly fulfill their invigilation duties, stick to their posts, conscientiously perform their duties, and prevent situations such as being late, leaving early, and leaving their posts without permission, in order to fully maintain good examination room order. In terms of test paper archives, all teachers were required to strictly follow the school's teaching management regulations, manage the test papers well, complete the examination paper review, score entry, and writing of the analysis report in a timely manner after the examination, ensuring that the review is fair and standardized, and the analysis is detailed and in-depth; at the same time, they need to sort and archive relevant materials such as test papers, scorebooks, and analysis reports according to requirements, guarantee the integrity and traceability of the archives, and review the problems found during this final examination process. In terms of verification of course implementation, it was clarified that teachers need to compare the course teaching syllabus, sort out the implementation of the teaching plan, completion of teaching content, development of in-class practical training, and student learning effect feedback of this semester, providing a basis for subsequent course optimization.
Subsequently, regarding the schedule for the thesis of the 2026 undergraduate graduates, and in accordance with the school's requirements for thesis management, key time nodes have been clarified: Supervisors are required to confirm the topic selection and review the opening report of the graduate thesis, ensuring that the topic aligns with the professional training objectives and possesses certain practical value and research significance. The initial draft guidance and revision of the thesis should be completed by the end of April, aiding students in clarifying their research ideas and standardizing their writing framework. Additionally, it is emphasized that supervisors need to strengthen communication and coordination with graduates, conduct regular online or offline guidance, promptly address issues encountered during the thesis writing process and internship, and ensure the orderly progress of the graduation thesis work.
Vice Dean Ji Jing put forward supplementary requirements regarding the final teaching inspection and graduate thesis work. She emphasized that all teachers must prioritize the quality of examination papers and the standardization of archives, strictly adhere to teaching discipline, and eliminate issues such as incorrect question design and lax evaluation. Additionally, she encouraged teachers to actively summarize their experiences based on their teaching practices this semester.
All participating teachers listened carefully to the meeting requirements, took detailed notes of the work highlights, and exchanged views on relevant work details. Everyone expressed their commitment to strictly following the meeting's arrangements, diligently completing all tasks related to the end-of-term teaching inspection, and fully advancing the guidance work for graduate theses, ensuring a successful conclusion to this semester's teaching work.
