On January 9, 2026, the Party branch directly under the School of Food and Pharmacy held the 2025 annual organizational life meeting and democratic appraisal of Party members, with the theme of honing Party spirit and style, fulfilling mission and responsibility. Before the meeting, the branch committee had held a preliminary meeting to conduct in-depth criticism and self-criticism, laying a solid foundation for the convening of the conference.
This conference strictly adhered to the implementation of five agenda items: Firstly, Wu Youzhi, the secretary of the Party branch, delivered a special Party lecture titled Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, guiding all Party members to deeply understand the essence of the spirit and grasp the practical requirements. Subsequently, Chen Jianlan, the deputy secretary of the Party branch, reported on the completion of the branch's work in 2025 on behalf of the branch committee, comprehensively summarizing achievements and objectively analyzing shortcomings. In the criticism and self-criticism session, the Party branch secretary took the lead in setting an example by identifying and analyzing problems and their root causes. All Party members spoke one by one, linking their thoughts and practical work, and conducted mutual criticism and self-criticism seriously, achieving the goal of unity-criticism-unity. The meeting strictly followed the procedures and organized all Party members to conduct democratic appraisal.
At the end of the meeting, Wu Youzhi, the secretary of the Party branch, made a concluding speech. She affirmed the standardized implementation and positive achievements of this organizational life meeting and democratic appraisal work, and put forward four clear requirements for consolidating the achievements of the meeting and promoting the next step of work: First, we must continue to strengthen theoretical arming, enhance political ability, and consciously arm our minds with the Party's innovative theories to guide practice; second, we must constantly hone our Party spirit and cultivation, build a strong sense of purpose, always remember our identity as Party members, and maintain close ties with teachers, students, and the masses; third, we must focus on consolidating the organizational foundation, enhancing the functions of the branch, and continuously strengthening the cohesion and combat effectiveness of the Party branch; fourth, we must unite our efforts to serve the overall interests of the center, promote the development of the cause, and lead and ensure the high-quality development of all undertakings of the college with high-quality Party building.
The meeting was well-prepared, with a clear theme, rigorous procedures, and a serious atmosphere. It effectively tested the annual work of the branch and the party spirit cultivation of the party members, further unified thinking, clarified direction, and consolidated strength. All party members expressed that they would take this meeting as a new starting point, continue to strengthen party spirit training, effectively improve work style, and transform the enthusiasm and vigor inspired by the meeting into practical actions of taking responsibility and overcoming difficulties, contributing greater strength to the development of the college and the school.
