On the morning of December 12, 2025, a research team from Shanghai Medical School visited the School of Food and Pharmacy at Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University. The two sides held an in-depth exchange and seminar in Conference Room 304. The purpose of this visit is to strengthen inter school cooperation, promote resource sharing, and explore new models of collaborative development in the field of biomedical education.

The visiting research team members include Jin Hui, Vice President of Shanghai Medical School, Lu Jing, Director of Education Operations and Assistant to the President, Lin Nan, Director of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Department, and Xu Yang, Leader of Biopharmaceutical Process. Wu Youzhi, Vice President of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University, Liu Yingwen, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Ji Jing and Wang Yuan, Vice Dean of the School of Food and Pharmacy, and Zhou Pingping, a teacher majoring in Biomedical Technology, participated in the reception and exchange.
At the beginning of the meeting, Wu Youzhi, Vice President of Zhongqiao University, warmly welcomed the arrival of the research team and briefly introduced the overall situation of the School of Food and Pharmacy in biopharmaceutical education. Subsequently, Jin Hui, Vice President of Shanghai Medical School, delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of this exchange and her expectations for future cooperation.
In the professional introduction section, Lin Nan, the head of the Department of Shanghai Medical School, elaborated in detail on the school's experience and practices in the construction of biopharmaceutical related majors, especially how to meet industry demands, optimize the curriculum system, and strengthen innovative measures in practical teaching. Liu Yingyu, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Zhongqiao University, introduced the implementation of the school's Zhongben Connection Project, including key aspects such as talent training program design, curriculum linkage, transition assessment, and quality monitoring.
Ji Jing, Vice Dean of the School of Food and Pharmacy, further introduced the talent cultivation of biopharmaceutical majors at Zhongqiao University, showcasing the achievements of the school in practical teaching, faculty building, and student employment.
During the interactive communication session, both parties had in-depth discussions on various aspects of biopharmaceutical education, seeking new opportunities for inter school cooperation. Everyone agrees that through professional co construction, faculty exchange, and sharing of practical training resources, the overall level of the two schools in the field of biomedical education can be further improved.
After the meeting, the research team also visited the laboratory of the School of Food and Pharmacy, and spoke highly of the experimental facilities and teaching environment of the school.
This visit and exchange activity not only enhanced the friendship between the two schools, but also laid a solid foundation for the deep cooperation between the two sides in the field of biomedical education. In the future, Shanghai Medical School and the School of Food and Pharmacy at Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University will continue to maintain close communication and jointly promote the innovative development of biopharmaceutical education.
